MontageThis is a movement of people from across the world and across the political spectrum who just can’t accept that human rights abuses would be acceptable, even if they made us safer (not that they do). See links to bloggers, news pieces and your photos from Flickr. If we’ve missed something, let us know and we’ll add it right here. It might be our campaign but it’s your movement.

We can be a force for change and this is how.

I am against terror of any kind, whether it be TERRORism or TERRORising people using torture.

The intelligence services are so good at obtaining sound information through valid methods, that I can't see the validity of torture, which distorts truths and just gets people to name anyone to get let off.

Surely truth, fairness and elected democracies are what the West is after. So why not lead by example? Torturing prisoners just makes us more hated by the invisible enemy. So we are only planting seeds for future terrorism if we torture people. So really we are only torturing ourselves.

I am a teenager that is very concerned with the way the world is going and is being run. I am disgusted to think that while we have suposedly advanced on civil rights and become civilised nations that our governments not only know that such torture practices take place but that they also allow it. I feel there is no positive future for our planet if we cannot even grant the simple basic rights to fellow humans.

Well done for showing people the thrue reality of what is going on in the world. We all live in our confort zone and we should try to open our minds and eyes a bit more often.

Our immoral actions in the name of peace reflect a deeply corrupt culture. This must end.

i think that everyone knows what happens in the usa or in other nations. and i mean, that most of them find it horrible. but nobody or better, only a few people try to help those, who have no own chance to speak.
when EVERYONE would unsubscribe against abuse of human rights ( & i don't mean, only to say this, i mean that YOU should do something), than we had a chance to stop this.

My view is that you should keep up the good work and change the state of human rights, one action, person, community at a time!

In my personal opinion, this is the worst form of interrogation that I've ever seen, this is full out tourture. Interrogation is sitting at a table with a convicted person and their lawyer. NOT nearly killing them for the answer you want. Why the hell are they even over there in the first place?! We need to do something about this and keep working towards the change that we are starting to gain. Regardless of whether or not it is on US soil, we are all humans and we all deserve fair treatment.~ Tyler Clason, Encampment Highschool, WY

I've watched both videos today, first time i've heard of the unsubscribe campaign and those videos show exactly why its needed. The WFTG video shook me, and the belly slap at the end - sends shivers down my spine every time. I'm unsubcribing, and i'll make sure my friends are too.
