unsubscribe launches
Amnesty International is supporting a grass roots movement of people who unsubscribe from the idea that the 'war on terror' justifies governments abandoning their duty to protect human rights.
You can unsubscribe here on the site of course but also we would really like you to get your feelings known via our Unsubscribe sites on Bebo or MySpace. For all you Facebook addicts out there, we have a Facebook group to join and a Facebook cause to promote. In every case, the key thing is to invite all your mates. Make your views obvious to everyone by making us a top friend, posting a note, sharing a link or whatever it takes.
If you are a photographer, join our Flickr group and get making some content we can use on all our mini-sites. The best will win prizes and may be exhibited in a gallery. Or make a film or just get busy unsubscribing all your friends, colleagues and family. If everyone gets another 10 or 20 friends or group members, we will very quickly be able to show huge numbers of people are ready to say 'enough'. It's in our power to make governments listen.
