Calling all students
There are over 100 student societies at universities and colleges throughout the UK who campaign and fundraise with AIUK. Why don't you
join one and get involved in the campaign to stop human rights abuses in the name of the 'war on terror'.
You can find out if you have a group and who's in charge through your Students Union. If there isn't a group e-mail student@amnesty.org.uk for information and help to set one up.
Groups will be supplied with plenty of materials and ideas to get them started, we want football and hockey teams to unsubscribe, we want arts students to create beautiful unsubscribe photos, installations, animations, photographs and videos. Don't forget, there will be spectacular prizes.
If you haven't got time to join a group don't worry (go on, try it, they're lots of fun), there's plenty you can do as an individual. Maybe you have a blog you could use to talk about Guantanamo Bay or secret rendition flights, maybe you host a radio programme on campus and could interview students affected by the new stop and search laws.
The long and short of it is you can make a difference, as an individual or working with friends.
You decide, and Unsubscribe.
